Payment Options

This practice treats all patients on a private basis. We do not undertake any NHS work. We are happy to treat patients either:

Pay-as-you-go

This is where you pay the private fees for your dental treatment as and when you have any treatment.

Payment is required at the time of your visit. The practice will provide you with a treatment estimate in advance for any work you may require. For complex procedures a comprehensive treatment plan will be provided to you explaining the procedures that are required, what they involve and how much they cost.

It is possible to spread the cost of the more expensive treatment plans and our receptionists will be happy to offer advice.

We accept cash, cheque with a guarantee card, all major credit and debit cards, and American Express.

Denplan Care

This is a dental payment plan that allows budgeting for routine dental treatments.

For a fixed monthly fee you will receive all routine dental care, such as your regular check-up visits, hygiene visits, fillings, x-rays, root canal treatment and preventive advice, at no extra cost. You will also have dental insurance that covers you for worldwide emergency treatment and out-of-hours emergency care. This also insures you against accidental dental injury caused by external trauma.

Denplan Logo

Should you wish to join Denplan, you will be assessed by recording the number of fillings, crowns etc. you already have, and the health of your gums will be taken into consideration. This information enables us to determine which of the 5 categories (A to E) you come under. This, in turn, determines what your monthly fee will be.

You should be dentally fit before you join Denplan, as any outstanding treatment is excluded from the scheme.

Treatment items that are not completely covered include; laboratory work (should you need a crown, for example, you will be charged the cost of having the crown manufactured), cosmetic treatment, dental implant treatment, CEREC restorations (a discount is given), and any medication that we may dispense (such as antibiotics).

Please contact us for further details.

Practice Plan

Practice Plan is our own dental plan which we have designed to give you the benefits of being able to budget for your routine care, and have the benefits of worldwide emergency cover and trauma insurance, whilst paying a reduced amount for your treatment.

The monthly rate is fixed with Practice Plan, with all patients paying the same amount.

You do not need to be dentally fit to join the Practice Plan scheme.
